Miss Rachael Brzezniak

My name is Rachael Brzezniak and I teach band (grades 6-12) and Music Appreciation here at LaSalle High School. Music has been apart of my life since I was five years old when my grandma was my piano teacher. I began playing trumpet in fifth grade. I went to Davison High School where I was apart of the marching band, concert band, symphonic band, pep band, pit orchestra and after school orchestra. I went to Mott Community College for two years and later transferred to Eastern Michigan University. At EMU I was involved in the marching band (five years), symphonic band (four years), wind symphony (two and a half years), basketball band (two years), the trumpet studio (six years), jazz band (three years) and the honorary band fraturnity Kappa Kappa Psi. I student taught at Hartland High School and Farms Intermediate School where I taught high schoolers on even days and fifth grade beginning band students on odd days. I graduated Eastern Michigan University on April 26, 2019 with a bachelors degree in instrumental music education K-12. Teaching music is one of my passions and I hope to share that passion with my current and future students.
