Overview: The St. Ignace Music Department is determined to educate every student with the basic knowledge and appreciation of the fine arts. To allow every willing student into the musical fine arts and further their ability musically, mentally, and emotionally through practice, rehearsal and performance. The Music Department hosts their annual Holiday and Spring Concerts, participates in MSBOA band festival, SVSU Band Day, Upper Peninsula Honors Band, Solo/Ensemble Festival,  and the CMU Jazz Weekend.  You can hear the marching band at home football games and the pep band at Friday home basketball games. MARSHALL MUSIC-TRAVERSE CITY
Marshall Music rents instruments and sells supplies for all band instruments. They are located in Traverse City, but come to our school once a week.  If you need or want any supplies contact the Traverse City location!
