Mrs. Ingalls was hired as the Head Coach of Girls Basketball in 1999, and has served as the head coach since then. Prior to being promoted to the position of Head Coach, Mrs. Ingalls served as an assistant coach and sub varsity in the girls basketball program from 1991 to 1999. She has also held positions within the boys basketball program under head coach Doug Ingalls.
Dorene Archambault graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 1986, from Lake Superior State University in 1991. While at Anchor Bay, she lettered in basketball, softball and volleyball. At Lake Superior, she lettered in basketball, volleyball, softball, and tennis. She was named the 1986 Anchor Bay High School Female Scholar Athlete, and the 1991 Lake Superior State University Female Athlete of the Year.
Mrs. Ingalls was inducted into the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame in 2016 and was inducted into the BCAM Hall of Fame in 2018. She was also the 2017 Michigan Sports Hall of Fame Treasurer.
Mrs. Ingalls is a BCAM Executive Board Member, Chairwoman of the Statewide Miss Basketball Award, and a Past President. She also was a member of the MHSAA Basketball Rules Committee.
