The following awards and scholarships are recognized at the LHS Academic Awards Assembly held in the spring of each school year. Some honors are monetary scholarships while others are noted for recognition and accomplishment in their own right.

Stanley St. Louis Athlete of the Year Award: Minimum two letter sports in the school year; recommended three
letter sports. Primary criteria are all around
contribution to athletic

Jim Brown Scholar Athlete Award: Senior. Minimum two letter sports in the school year. Primary
criteria are highest academic
achievement throughout high
school career.
David Frazier Workhorse Award: Minimum two letter sports in the school year. Primary criteria are dedication toward athletic success.
Curley Nelson Citizenship Award: Minimum two letter sports in the school year. Primary criteria are citizenship/sportsmanship
demonstrated
both in athletics and in
school as well.
