Welcome to Mrs. Martin's webpage
Hello, welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! My name is Nichole Martin and I have lived in St. Ignace most of my life. After graduating from LaSalle High School in 1995, I attended Central Michigan University and earned a B.S. in Elementary Education with a major in child develpment and a minor in math, along with a Z.A. Endorsement in Early Childhood Education. Several years after earning my bachelor's degree I earned a master's degree from Marygrove and a Learning Disabilites Endorsement from Northern Michigan University. I currently teach high school special education and teach at the Juvenile Detention Center, long with being the high school Student Council Advisor & one of the freshman class advisors.
My husband & I live in St.Ignace along with our 4 children. My husband is a UPS driver out of Petoskey. Our oldest son is 18 years old is a freshman in college. Our "middle child" is our only daughter and she is 14years old and is a freshman in high school. Then we have 12 year old identical twin boys who keep us on our toes and are full of energy. They will attend preschool this year. Needless to say our house is never quiet or lacks energy!
