Ms. LaTocha graduated from Central Michigan University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Ms. LaTocha also holds a Professional teaching certificate from the State of Michigan. In 2001 Ms. LaTocha received a Master's degree in Education with a major in Administration from Northern Michigan University. She is considered highly qualified to teach biology. She has taught biology, advanced biology, anatomy, physical science and chemistry in her tenure at LaSalle.
Ms. LaTocha is also active in LaSalle High School's School Improvement Committee and the North Central Accrediation Committee. She is also the head of the Health Advisory Committee and was a mentor for the LaSalle Robotics Team. Ms. LaTocha is a member of the of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society for Women Teachers Alpha Tau Chapter. She is also a member of the Straits Area Ducks Unlimited Chapter.
Ms. LaTocha has taught for 25.5 years at LaSalle in the science department. She enjoys working with students and teaching biology.
